You Can Be Everything God Wants You To Be by Max Lucado

You Can Be Everything God Wants You to Be, by Max Lucado is a little book packed with lots of Biblical truth, insights and promises of God's plan for you. Yes, God designed each of us with a purpose and a plan and He has fully equipped us to do it. Lucado, walks the reader through God's promises of a future of hope, and joy for each of us. That what we do, can bring glory to God. I for one believe that if God promises it, you can count on it, no question and Lucado does too. Each section is anchored by God’s word, as Lucado helps us to unpack who we are, how we are uniquely created and what our purpose is.

If you are dissatisfied in work, if you’re trying to figure out what is next, if life has taken an uncertain turn, if you’re in high school, a recent grad, or in college this book is for you. Lucado helps understand what we have been called to do. That what we should pursue is so much a part of us it’s what we enjoy doing. All too many of us get tripped up on what others think we should do, what will earn us the most money, bring us prestige rather than what will bring glory to God and joy in our lives. This little book helps you discover how you can be happy pursuing God’s plan for your life.

I definitely recommend this book and see myself reading it again and again. It makes a wonderful graduation present.

I received a free copy of this copy through Thomas Nelson Publishing’s Book Sneeze book review program. The opinions expressed in this review are my own and I was not required to provide a positive review.
